Rosa Navarrete is a Peruvian immigrant based in Los Angeles. She is an award-winning filmmaker and a Creative Writer hailing from UC Berkeley. She is a 1st place winner for the CBS Leadership Pipeline Challenge, and last fall she was in The Center for Cultural Power’s 2024 Disruptors Fellowship cohort. She serves on the Refugee Children Center board (www.refugeechildrencenter.org) and has supported the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival as Vice-Chair of the National Playwriting program since 2023.
